D. Geoffrey Bell and Dr. Charlene Pauls
We proudly performed three new works at our Canada 150 concert on May 13, 2017 and here are the extremely talented musicians that can take a bow.
A wonderful season of choral music has been planned for you, our guests. Please mark the following dates on your calendar:
Saturday, November 9, 2019
Location: First St. Andrew's United Church, 35 Queens Ave., London
A transformative musical respite.
Look around and take it all in. Take one deep, long and cleansing breath. And now another. Tonight you are not in charge, and you need not worry about things that hold your focus all day. Solstice Meditation is our gift to you; a musical offering for you to become lost in the mystical and spiritual lyricism of some of the new choral greats. Featuring Morten Lauridsen’s stunning Lux Aeterna, we know this program will allow you peace of mind, clarity, quietness, comfort, and all good things that art brings to our lives.
Saturday, March 28, 2020
From the shimmering undulation of Ola Gjeilo’s Sunrise Mass, to the thunderous beats of Robert Ray’s Gospel Mass, to the sweeping and joyous melodies of Paul Halley’s Missa Gaia: celebrate our connection to the earth and all that live here. The thrilling rhythms of the music synch together the heart beat of the singers and our audience with our living planet. Turn off your lights and join us under one roof as we celebrate Earth Hour through this breath-taking music.

HEART OF THE ARTIST
Canadian artists are treasured the world over. London Pro Musica Choir welcomes special guests from many artistic disciplines in this multi-media sharing. Celebrate the singer, the player, the dancer, the painter, the poet, the thinker, the weaver, the sculptor, the healer, and the actor in this festive afternoon honouring the best of Canadian arts and culture, and the people who keep it alive.
London Pro Musica is looking to sponsor young, upcoming, local talent so we are holding auditions for section leads. These leads would be required to attend all rehearsals and take responsibility for some of our sectional rehearsals. There may even be opportunities for interesting solo and small ensemble work.
We will also be holding auditions at this time for those who would like to become regular members of the choir.
Auditions will be held in person on August 29th and 30th at First Saint Andrews Church. Zoom interviews are also a possibility. If you are interested, please contact our Artistic Director, Markus Howard at: email@example.com
